Rockslide Sound Effect
📝 Description
This Rockslide sound effect is loose rock breaking away and clattering down a slope, a dry granular tumble of stone against stone. It has the irregular chaotic timing that real falling debris has, and that is what separates it from a single impact hit. Editors use it for cave ins, cliff collapses and mountain sequences, and game designers attach it to destructible terrain and trap triggers. It layers well on top of a low rumble, where the rumble supplies weight and the rockslide supplies detail. On its own it is also a convincing bed for quarry, mining and demolition scenes.
